Hi, I'm Andrea, I'm a cook and with my wife Rachele I manage Gustomare a fish-only gastronomy. Since I was a child I have always loved cooking. I was delighted to watch my grandmother pull the dough, or my grandfather cook the meat on the grill. My Mom, who has never called herself a cook, with her simple cuisine made me appreciate the clean flavors, those that enhance the raw material. After the hotel school I started my career and I literally fell in love with this wonderful job, even if after a few years and having worked in different hotels and restaurants, shifts and exhausting conditions made me hate the profession, so I decided to open my own place. The mission was very difficult: I had to reconcile my greatest passion with work schedules and rhythms that would allow me a "normal" life, which is a luxury in the world of catering. Thus was born Gustomare. Not the classic gastronomy. First of all we are closed on Sunday and this already distinguishes us from the others .... innovative cooking techniques, quality raw materials, a lot of technology in the kitchen (another passion of mine) make Gustomare unique in its kind. With Rachele, my wife, who is very passionate about nutrition and sport, I experimented with organic ingredients from local producers, appreciating their authenticity and thus creating dishes that have become a must such as organic whole spelled Cous Cous with fish and sauteed vegetables. Together we try to improve and we are always looking for something new by trying, experimenting and studying, because our greatest joy is to see you amazed when you discover that we also make sourdough bread and desserts.
