GuardSkills is the essential mobile training app for professionals in the UK’s private security industry. If your employer has assigned you workplace training, you can now complete it conveniently through the GuardSkills app. No sign-up is needed. Simply log in using your email and a one-time secure code provided by your employer to begin your training journey. How It Works GuardSkills is built to make professional training simple and accessible on any device. Once you receive your email invitation, download the app, enter your login code, and follow a short onboarding process to set up your learner profile. The training assigned by your employer is already waiting for you in the app. Courses are broken down into short video-based units so you can complete them quickly—even during breaks or while commuting. Once a course is completed, you’ll take a short quiz to assess your understanding. If you pass, you’ll immediately earn a digital certificate you can view, download, and share. If not, you can revisit the course and try again when you're ready. Full Learner Journey Inside the App 1. Login Made Simple Just enter your email and 4-digit login code—no account creation or password setup required. 2. Create Your Profile Add your name, upload a profile photo (from your gallery or camera), and enter your date of birth to complete your learner profile. 3. Start Learning Instantly Courses assigned by your employer appear as soon as you log in. Tap “Start now” to begin learning right away. 4. Video-Based Learning Each course contains a series of short, focused videos that are easy to complete in just a few minutes. 5. Track Your Progress Switch between course tabs: Not Started, In Progress, and Completed. Filter by category and keep an eye on how many units are left. 6. Take the Quiz At the end of each course, answer a set of multiple-choice questions to verify your understanding. 7. Earn and View Certificates If you pass the quiz, a certificate of completion is instantly awarded and displayed in your “Certificates” tab. If you don’t pass, simply retake the quiz after reviewing the material again. 8. Certificate Dashboard All certificates are sorted by status—Achieved, Expiring Soon, or Expired—so you can manage renewals with ease. 9. Build Learning Streaks Stay motivated by tracking your daily activity streaks. Learn a little every day to keep your progress alive. 10. All Your Info in One Place From your profile, you can update your information, access support, and review the terms and privacy policy. Why GuardSkills?
