Store description excerpt

The GU Barcode Scanner app simplifies the ordering process in the GU ProPoint shop. It allows you to add products to your shopping cart quickly and conveniently by scanning the barcode or manually entering the item number—without having to search for items manually in your browser. As a customer, you can use the app to easily add items to your shopping cart on site or in the warehouse. The actual checkout is then conveniently carried out in the web-based GU ProPoint shop on your PC. There you can check your shopping cart and complete your order. Alternatively, you can also submit your shopping cart directly in the app by clicking on the “Order” button. Please note that only the most important order details can be entered in the app. Requirements for use • Account/shop access: You need access to GU ProPoint. You can find out more about this here. • Device: iOS or Android smartphone/tablet with camera. • Internet: Wi-Fi or mobile data is required to transmit and synchronize the shopping cart. If you do not have an internet connection while adding items, the items you have entered or scanned will be temporarily stored until you are connected to the internet again. • Permissions: Allow camera access. Location access is requested during registration, but is not mandatory. • Barcode labels: The barcode must be of the Barcode39 type and may only contain the item number. Please request barcode labels from your sales representative. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
