GRINTA — REVIEW NOTES WHAT THE APP DOES Grinta is a matchmaking app for amateur pickup football (soccer). Users create or join football matches (3v3 to 11v11) organized by other users nearby, join a roster, or get invited directly by an organizer. No payments are processed in-app — any listed price is indicative only and settled in person between players. ACCOUNT / SIGN-IN Account creation is required to use the app (email + password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google — all three are fully supported alternatives on the same sign-in screen, per guideline 4.8). Test credentials are provided in the Sign-In Information section above. The test account is pre-populated with live content: 20+ upcoming matches organized by multiple users, 6 other players currently marked as available nearby, and active circle memberships — no setup needed to review matchmaking, rosters, or messaging. ONBOARDING FLOW After first sign-in, the app walks through a short onboarding: (1) choose a nickname, (2) optionally add a profile photo from the device photo library, (3) pick a preferred playing position, (4) optionally grant location access to see nearby matches (the app remains usable without it — location is only used to sort/filter matches, never required to browse). The test account above has already completed onboarding, so you'll land directly on the home screen after signing in. DEVICES / OS TESTED Tested on iPhone SE running iOS 26.4 prior to submission. BACKEND / THIRD-PARTY SERVICES - Supabase is used for the database, authentication, file storage, and real-time roster/invitation updates. No custom encryption beyond standard TLS in transit — see Encryption declaration (ITSAppUsesNonExemptEncryption = false). - Expo Push Notifications is used to deliver roster/invitation/waitlist alerts. Notification permission is only requested after the user reaches the relevant onboarding step, never on first launch. ACCOUNT DELETION Users can permanently delete their account and data from within the app: Settings → Delete account. This immediately revokes any linked Sign in with Apple/Google grant and removes the user's profile; matches the user organized are transferred to another confirmed player where possible, otherwise removed. LOCATION Location is requested "while using the app" only — Grinta never requests or uses background location. It is used solely to show nearby matches on a list/map and to let organizers find available players close to them. REGIONAL AVAILABILITY The app functions consistently across all regions — there are no region-specific features, content, or restrictions.
