Green Hat Community keeps Nashville-area neighborhoods informed — without turning them into surveillance zones. No cameras. No license plate readers. No facial recognition. Nothing pointed at your street. Just public police data and neighbors telling neighbors what is going on. WHAT YOU GET Live crime feed Incidents from Metro Nashville Police Department public data — active dispatch, incident reports, and calls for service — refreshed through the day and sorted by severity. View them on a map or as a list, filtered to the time window you care about. Neighbor reports Anyone can submit a tipster or non-emergency report, add photos, and post anonymously. Community reports appear alongside official data and are always clearly labeled as unverified — never dressed up as police records. Alerts that match your life Set a radius around your home and get notified when something happens inside it. Choose which severity levels reach you, and set quiet hours so you can sleep. Your neighborhood, privately HOAs, neighborhoods, and schools can create a private community with a real drawn boundary, not a ZIP code. Join with a code from your board or property manager and message your actual neighbors in dedicated channels. Severe weather alerts National Weather Service warnings for your area. Emergency information Keep emergency contacts and an optional medical profile on hand for when it matters. BUILT WITHOUT SURVEILLANCE Everything here is either public record or shared by choice. We install no hardware, operate no cameras, and scan no one. Nobody is entered into a database for walking or driving through your neighborhood. The app contains no advertising trackers, and location is only ever used while the app is open. FREE AND PAID Submitting tipster and non-emergency reports is free for everyone, always. A subscription lets you create your own community, join a private one, and message inside it.
