Store description excerpt
Write three things you're grateful for and you run dry fast. Good weather, a tasty lunch, my health. There's only so much you have. But some memories stay sharp for months. The time someone quietly helped you when things were hard. The day someone thanked you, and meant it. What passes between people stays. 'Gratitude Practice' is built on that difference. *Two things, side by side Grateful today — written fresh each day. Starts with three fields; add or remove as you like. Revisit — coming back now and then to the same story. Write down a time you were thanked, or helped, as three or four bullet points, then sit with the feeling for a minute or two. *Why the same story Revisiting isn't about finding more to read. It's about letting the feeling from back then come up again now. Think of a song you love. Choosing a new one each time means spending the first minute deciding whether you like it. A familiar one puts you there within two bars. *What isn't here No streaks. No monthly counts. Days you miss go unmentioned. An empty day is just empty. No prompts, no quote feed, no AI replies. Just a title and empty fields. No account. You'll never see a sign-in screen. No ads, no subscription. *Your entries stay yours Stored on this device and in iCloud. Nothing is sent to a server, and nothing is collected. Change phones and it comes back on its own. Export any time as JSON or Markdown. Lock it with Face ID. *Where this comes from The two-part structure comes from a gratitude practice described by neuroscientist Andrew Huberman in a 2021 episode of the Huberman Lab podcast.
