Introduction: Grama Mitra - App developed for the rural individuals to connect with their local bodies as part of AIRGRAMA & SWaDaM project. The app having the option to send complaints, apply for new services, etc. It also features to view water bills, solid waste bill details for those who are paying monthly charges to the Grama Panchayats. About AIRGRAMA application: AIRGRAMA is an E-Office management solution for Grama Panchayats where about 10 Grama Panchayats in Dakshina Kannada district are using the system from past 2 years. It has features like Application Inward Register, Licence Register, NOC register where Grama Panchayat officials can manage these registers with easy management. About SWaDaM Billing software: SWaDaM (Sweet Water Distribution and Management / Solid Waste Disposal and Management) Billing software is used by about 20 Grama Panchayats in Dakshina Kannada District of Karnataka State. It is awarded with National Entrepreneurship Award 2018 for digitizing the rural area activities. In the software, all the consumer MIS is updated and the monthly billing is entered by Meter Reader / Data operator and DCB Report is generated. About Grama Mitra App: Grama Mitra app is the new additional bundle to the above softwares and is releasing to the general consumers where they can get all the information within their fingertip. The consumer can register with valid mobile numbers and link ther consumer account to view their billing information. Along with billing information, he / she can apply for new services within app using the option provided, also he/she can raise complaints regarding services within their area using the app. Optional Permissions required: Storage / Camera Permissions: To attach documents for applications, complaints Location Permission: To show the exact GPS location for complaints to solve the issue accurately.
