Place food on it and get nutrition data based on actual grams — cereal, juice, fruit, ice cream, cuts of meat, salads, or each layer of a sandwich. No display to read, no serving-size estimates. Scan packaged foods: Search or scan barcodes against a database of over 1.9 million foods and ingredients. See what's actually in a product before you buy it, including preservatives, artificial colorings and sweeteners, and other additives some people prefer to avoid. Set your own restrictions: Enter food allergies, religious restrictions, and preferences. Gourmetmiles flags items containing ingredients you've chosen to avoid. Track everything in one place: Log natural foods, packaged foods, and restaurant meals together, so your daily totals reflect what you actually ate rather than a partial picture.
