WHY THIS ONE IS DIFFERENT Most habit apps ask you to tick a box. Anyone can tick a box. Here, every kindness leaves a trace: a photo of the litter you collected, the before and after of a water bowl you filled, the length of the call you made to your grandmother, the steps you walked. Nothing is taken on trust alone unless the kindness genuinely has no trace — and then one honest sentence is enough. A KINDNESS A DAY, CHOSEN FOR YOU Every day you draw one card from a deck of dozens of kindnesses across seven areas of life: nature, animals, family, strangers, community, yourself, and the digital world. Each card tells you what to do, why it matters, and how it will be proven. If today's card doesn't fit your day, swap it. NINE WAYS TO PROVE A KINDNESS Not all kindness looks the same, so not all proof looks the same: · Before and after — the same scene, twice, a few minutes apart · Kindness receipt — the person you helped confirms with one tap, with no app and no account · Voice — only the length of your speech is measured; audio is never recorded or uploaded · Timer — an in-app timer confirms the time you gave · Steps — your step count does the proving, so you photograph nothing · Location — an approximate area confirms you went outside · System event — completing a share sheet counts it · On your honour — for the kindnesses that leave no trace at all One rule never changes: you are never asked to photograph the person you helped. Kindness isn't displayed — its trace is. A GARDEN THAT REMEMBERS Every kindness grows a plant. Each category grows its own species, from seed to sprout to sapling to a tree in blossom. Miss a day and the plants droop, but nothing you have grown is ever taken away — this app has no punishment, only care. KINDNESS CHAINS This is the part people tell their friends about. Turn a kindness into a chain, give it a name and an intention — "for my father, forty kindnesses" — and then hand the turn to ONE person. They do their own kindness, prove it, and pass it on. You watch the chain travel from country to country, link by link. One person can hold only one link, and the turn is only ever with one person at a time. That is what makes it feel like something entrusted rather than something forwarded. STREAKS THAT FORGIVE Build a daily streak, earn badges at three, seven, thirty and a hundred days. Miss a day and a monthly freeze protects you. The day rolls over at four in the morning, so a kindness done late at night still counts for that day. PRIVATE BY DESIGN · Your proofs are private by default — only you see them · Audio is never uploaded; only its length is measured, on your device · Location is reduced to a city-level area; exact coordinates are never stored · No leaderboards and no comparison with other people — only your own
