The first time the app connects, a pairing prompt appears on the TV screen — accept it once and you're set. If your TV shows that prompt, it's supported. For power-on to work while the TV is off, enable your TV's setting that keeps its network active in standby (often called "quick start" or "turn on via Wi-Fi").
