Glöggli – Functional Description (as of June 8, 2026) Overview Glöggli is a native Android alarm clock application. It allows you to create, edit, and trigger audible and vibrating alarms at user-defined times. The app runs entirely locally on the device and does not require an internet connection. No user data is collected, stored, or transmitted. Main Features Creating and Managing Alarms - Create, edit, and delete alarms with any time (24-hour format). - Set recurring alarms by selecting any weekday (Monday to Sunday). - One-time alarms (no weekday selected) deactivate automatically after ringing. - Activate or deactivate alarms individually using a toggle switch without deleting them. - Deleted alarms can be restored shortly after deletion via a snack bar action. - The alarm list is sorted in ascending order by time. ` ... Ringtone Behavior - Individually adjustable for each alarm: ringtone (system ringtones or one of two included bird recordings), volume (0–100%), vibration on/off, snooze duration (1–30 minutes, default 9 minutes). - Optional gradual increase in volume from zero to the set maximum volume over a configurable duration of 1 to 30 minutes (square gradient for a smooth, gradual increase). - During the gradual increase, the screen remains dark when the alarm is triggered; it only brightens when the user touches it. - When the device is active (unlocked and powered on), only a heads-up notification appears; if the device is locked or powered off, the full-screen alarm interface is displayed over the lock screen. - Ending and snoozing are performed by a deliberate swipe on the full-screen interface or via the notification's action buttons. - Snooze phases trigger the alarm at full volume (no further gradual increase).
