Global Beef Health is a field notebook and clinical record system for veterinarians and herd health technicians working with beef and dairy cattle. It is built for use in a barn aisle, a feed yard, or at a squeeze chute — large tap targets, short forms, and figures that read clearly at arm's length. Register the animals you are responsible for, open a case when one presents, record examinations and treatments, and let the app track the two things easiest to lose in a busy day: when an animal must be rechecked, and when milk and meat withdrawal periods actually expire. HERD REGISTER • Register animals by ear tag with name, breed, sex, birth date or approximate age, pen group, weight and body condition score • Sections by pen group, with search across tag, name, breed and group • Filter by under treatment, quarantine, active withdrawal, healthy or culled • Status pills, active-withdrawal markers and open-case badges on every row • Animal photos from the camera or your library, stored on device CASES AND TREATMENTS • Open a case with presentation date, body-system category, presenting signs and severity • Record full vitals: rectal temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, rumen contractions, hydration and weight, each with a normal-range hint • Log treatments with drug, concentration, dose per kg, computed volume, route and site • Re-examine a case and see vitals change against the previous examination • Close a case with a final diagnosis and outcome; reopen it if needed • Per-animal weight and body condition trend charts built from your examinations WITHDRAWAL TRACKING • Every administered drug produces a milk-hours and meat-days countdown • Exact clearing timestamps with a plain-language "milk safe from" and "meat safe from" line • Local reminders when a withdrawal period clears, with a configurable lead time • Clear "do not ship / do not sell" status on the animal while any period is active DAILY WORK VIEW • Today screen showing overdue rechecks, withdrawals about to clear and quarantined animals • Follow-up task list grouped by overdue, today, this week and later • Quick actions for a new case, a new animal, the dose calculator and the drill • Seven-day chart of cases opened and resolved CLINICAL REFERENCE • Disease and syndrome monographs organised by body system: respiratory, digestive, reproductive, lameness, mastitis, metabolic and parasitic • Signs, differentials, diagnosis and sample types, treatment classes with dose ranges, prevention checklists and withdrawal notes • Dose and withdrawal calculator with a graduated syringe view, split-dose guidance and one tap to attach the result to an open case • Body condition scoring guide from 1.0 to 5.0 • Protocol update notes so reference content can be corrected without an app update REGIONAL SIGNAL BOARD • Weekly picture of which diagnoses are being reported across contributing devices • Rising, steady or falling trend per diagnosis with an eight-week chart • Reports carry only a distri
