Glimpse One is the companion app for Glimpse smart glasses — a wearable low-vision aid that puts a magnified, enhanced view of the world on the display in front of you. Connect the glasses to your phone over USB and the live camera feed is processed in real time, then sent back to the glasses display. WHAT IT DOES • Magnification — zoom into signs, labels, menus and price tags that are too small or too far away to read comfortably. • Contrast and brightness — tune the image independently until detail separates from background. • High-contrast colour modes — switch between white-on-black, black-on-white, black-on-yellow and yellow-on-black. These are the standard low-vision palettes, and the right one depends on your eyes. • Edge enhancement — outlines are traced to make shapes and obstacles easier to pick out in cluttered scenes. • Read aloud — point at a page, a letter or a sign and Glimpse One recognises the text and speaks it. Recognition runs entirely on your device; the image is never uploaded. • Capture and review — save photos and video of what you were looking at, and open them again later at full magnification. • Private by default — captured media is encrypted on your phone and stored inside the app. It does not appear in your phone's gallery and cannot be read by other apps. REQUIREMENTS Glimpse One requires Glimpse smart glasses. It is not a standalone magnifier and does not use your phone's own camera. The glasses connect by USB, and your phone must support USB host mode. An account is required. Sign-up uses your mobile number and a one-time password. SUPPORT contact@glimpsetech.in
