Glaucomfleckens: Humor & Humanity in Medicine is a private membership community for healthcare professionals brought to you by Will and Kristin Flanary, known to millions online as Dr. and Lady Glaucomflecken. This is the break room you’ve always needed. Except for our anesthesia colleagues who already have a break room. You can think of it as a second break room…for your soul. Our goal is to bring healthcare professionals together to share stories, learn from each other, laugh at the occasional absurdity of what we do, and remind one another why it matters that we do it. Inside, you'll find: + Monthly themes with conversations and prompts to help you share your side of medical life. + Weekly discussions where we swap tips, tricks, and hard-won wisdom about staying afloat in an unforgiving system. + Member spotlights to celebrate your wins and help you get to know your colleagues behind the scrubs, unicorn headbands, and bicycle helmets. + Live-streamed conversations with clinical experts, healthcare leaders, and social media personalities. Also, live pep talks from Dr. G (and special guests!). Don’t underestimate how amazing it feels for an internet comedian ophthalmologist to tell you you’re doing great. + Weekly round-ups of the latest healthcare conversations (and myths) your patients have definitely seen on TikTok. We love a good medical misinformation debunking in this community.
