GestenApp is a reference and study app designed by an obstetrics student at Universidad San Sebastián de Valdivia, Chile, to support her own training and that of her classmates. It brings together in one place the reference materials students need during their clinical rotations and exams: calculators, reference scales, summary guides, and an organized notebook. WHAT'S INCLUDED - A notebook organized by study topics (prenatal care, contraception, Pap smear, menopause, gynecology, perinatal mental health), where you can take notes on case studies and field observations. - A personal planner to organize your shifts, classes, and clinical rotations. - Reference calculators to practice formulas covered in class: gestational age, estimated due date, body mass index (BMI) with WHO classification, expected weight gain, oxytocin drip rate calculation, and blood loss estimation. - Reference scales for studying and learning how to calculate: EPDS, Goldberg, MALG, EDS, WHO Scale, and Apgar. Includes the Bristol scale as supplementary material. - Summary guides with bibliographic references (Chilean Ministry of Health and scientific societies), designed as quick notes for review before exams and practical sessions. - Document template generator (orders and prescriptions) to practice writing and correct formatting during training. - Export and import your notes in JSON format to keep them secure across devices. PRIVACY All your notes are saved only on your device. The app does not send information to any server, does not require an account, does not display advertising, and does not share data with third parties. If you export a backup, the file remains on your phone, and you decide what to do with it. GestenApp is optimized for fast loading and low data usage, ideal for hospital shifts, practical sessions, and contexts with limited connectivity. An internet connection is required to open the app. IMPORTANT — EDUCATIONAL USE ONLY GestenApp is a study and reference tool for students in training. It does not replace formal instruction, faculty supervision, institutional protocols, or current clinical guidelines (MINSAL, ICP, SOCHOG). The calculators and scales are for educational reference purposes only. Any actual clinical decisions made during supervised practice are the responsibility of the instructor or supervising professional.
