The app "History of Weert - In a Nutshell" was created by RC Creation and is made available free of charge to the residents and visitors of the city of Weert. This is to introduce as wide a range of interested people as possible to the rich history of this beautiful city in an accessible way. A virtual guide takes you to several locations and tells you about the historical events that took place there, as well as about the history of the city in general. However, the app does not cover the complete history. The information provided should therefore be seen as just the tip of the iceberg. Also, this app is not an alternative to the city walks offered by the Stadsgidsen Weert (Weert City Guides), one of the sources of inspiration for developing this app. These City Guides provide a unique experience that an app cannot replicate. The photos shown come from various organizations and private individuals. The source is indicated for each photo. An active internet connection is required for this app, and you can use the free Wi-Fi available in the center of Weert. Please note: 1. Loading the map via the free Wi-Fi for the first time may take a few minutes. If you do not wish to wait, you can turn off Wi-Fi and turn on mobile data.
