Store description excerpt
GastroLog is a food and symptom diary for people whose gut decides how the day goes. Log what you ate and how you felt, watch which foods keep turning up before a bad day, and bring a clear PDF report to your GI appointments. The diary itself is free, and it is the whole app. Meals, symptoms, weight, sleep, energy, fluids, medications, your own safe-foods list, the per-food history counts, flare mode and reminders cost nothing, with no trial period and no cap on how much you log. One optional purchase, GastroLog Plus, adds the shareable PDF report and trend charts longer than a fortnight. It is a one-off, not a subscription, and you never need it to keep using the diary. If you are working through a low FODMAP diet, GastroLog is where you write down what happened. You decide what is in and what is out; the app records how each meal went, so elimination and reintroduction rest on evidence rather than memory. The same applies to IBS, gastroparesis, reflux, chronic nausea and the months after gut surgery. A food diary that takes two taps - Repeat a meal in two taps. You eat the same safe things, and the app respects that. - Six usual meals stay pinned, so the food you eat most is always one tap away. - Say how much you actually managed, not just what was on the plate. - Missed a week? Nothing nags. Your diary simply continues. A symptom tracker with no typing - Nausea, vomiting, bloating, fullness and reflux, logged with big chips and a five-point severity scale. - One tap marks a rough patch, and the app quiets down until it passes. It asks for liquids, fluids and symptoms, and nothing else. Low FODMAP and IBS tracking - GastroLog does not hand you a FODMAP list. It records the one you are already working from, meal by meal, so a reintroduction that goes badly is written down while it is fresh. - Mark each food safe, trial or trigger as you learn it. That is your own low FODMAP result, worked out from your meals. - An IBS tracker that keeps bloating, fullness, reflux and the meals that came before them on one timeline. Your trigger food list, your call - Safe, trial and trigger lists that belong to you. - Once a food has some history, GastroLog shows the plain count — "symptoms followed on 4 of 6 occasions" — and you decide what moves where. - The app never labels a food for you and never hands you a diet plan. It counts what you logged. See the shape of your weeks - The fortnight dashboard lines up symptoms, meals, weight, sleep, energy, fluids and medications on one screen. - Weight and symptom trends with the rough patches marked. - The fortnight view is free. A month, three months and the whole record come with Plus. The report for your GI appointment (Plus) - A clear PDF: symptom summary, weight trend, meal patterns, your food observations, medications, and the questions you want to ask. - Built from your diary in seconds and shared straight from your phone. - Walk in with your story already on paper, instead of trying to remembe
