Store description excerpt

Touch anywhere and the water stirs, ripples spread, and a clear tone sounds. Slide a finger and bubbles drift. Press with a whole hand and the water itself shakes. One screen. No menus, no navigation. Open it and you are already underwater. ■ Sound, touch and light answer together A ripple spreads from where you touched, a clear tone sounds, and at the same moment a vibration returns to your finger. The three never drift apart. The tones sit where infant hearing is most sensitive — low notes reach them poorly. Only consonant intervals are used. ■ It adapts to your child's age Three stages: under 1, ages 1–2, and 3 and up. Color, speed, the number of bubbles, and the strength of sound and vibration all change. Entering a birth month is optional. Shake play is never offered to children under one. Each session has a set length. When the time is up, the screen slowly darkens and play ends quietly. It never stops abruptly. ■ No advertising at all No banners, no video ads, no outbound links. Nothing to tap by accident. No analytics either. The birth month and play records stay on the device and are never sent anywhere. ■ Play records Time played, and the first time each new thing happened — the first touch, the first time your child answered with their voice. No goals, no streaks, no celebrations. A record should be something you are glad to look back on, not something that asks anything of you. ■ Play with Movement (one-time purchase) Tilt the device and the water tilts, sending bubbles drifting. Shake it and motes of light rise up. Make a sound and the water answers — so children who cannot reach the screen yet can play too. A one-time purchase with no further charges. Play records, session length and effect strength are free. ■ For parents Settings live behind a long press in the top-left corner followed by a simple arithmetic question, so a child cannot open them by chance. Used together with Guided Access on iPhone and iPad, the Home gesture can be blocked. The app explains how to start and, more importantly, how to end it.
