Store description excerpt
Fuqua Check-In helps students and faculty at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business manage attendance for classes and events. Using Bluetooth beacons installed in classrooms, the app automatically detects when you are near an event location. Once you are within range, you can quickly check in to your scheduled class or event. For locations equipped with NFC, you can also check in by tapping your phone on an NFC tag, even if Bluetooth is turned off. The app includes several features to help you manage your attendance: Check-In History – View your past check-ins and submit absence or late-arrival excuses when applicable. Check-In Calendar – View upcoming classes and events, and submit absence excuses before a class begins. Class Check-In – Students can only check in to classes or events in which they are enrolled and only during the scheduled event time. Voice Enrollment – Complete speech enrollment to support AI-enabled classrooms by securely associating your voice with your profile. Name Recording – Record your name. Authentication requires a valid Duke University NetID and password. Once you sign in, you will remain logged in until you explicitly sign out or your session expires. Fuqua Attendance streamlines attendance tracking for students while providing faculty with an efficient and reliable attendance management solution.
