Funkstille keeps you company through the time you have decided not to make contact. Not with advice from outside, but with a place for the evening to go: one entry a day, saying how it was. THE DAY At the top is the number of days you have been without contact. No competition and no punishment. If there was contact after all, you can note it, and the number still stands. What is counted is the time, not your performance. THE ENTRY Once a day, usually in the evening. How your day was, whether there was contact, and whatever you want to write about it. A headline if you like, a picture with it. Funkstille asks for no more than that, and less is enough too. THE REVIEW After a few weeks something becomes visible that you cannot see from inside it: your entries as a grid, as a feed, and as the course of your mood. Two days can be laid side by side, an early one and a later one. THE LEARNING PATH Ten short sections over four weeks. Each explains something that is happening to you right now, asks a question to think further, and suggests one small task. What is written there stands against studies, named at the end of each section. ON YOUR DEVICE No account, no sign-up, no server of ours. What you write stays encrypted on your phone and goes nowhere. Not to us either. HONESTLY, UP FRONT Funkstille is a tool for organising yourself and does not replace therapy. If you are having a really bad time, the Help section holds the free helpline numbers for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Around the clock, and also without a network.
