Store description excerpt

A photo of a cat. Under it, the English: cat. And the Spanish: gato (m), gata (f). Tap, and hear it said aloud in clear Spanish. Tap again if it didn't stick. Next card. That's the whole app, and it's why it works: a word arrives attached to a picture, and the picture does the remembering for you. 1,000 Spanish words, 50 categories, no ads, no account, no internet needed. Free to try. BOTH GENDERS, ON THE CARD Spanish nouns have a gender, and it's the first thing beginners get wrong. Wherever a word has a feminine form, the card shows both, marked (m) and (f) — so gata arrives alongside gato from day one, instead of being unlearned later. Most flashcard apps show you one form and leave the rest to your teacher. EVERY WORD, SPOKEN ALOUD All 1,000 words come with audio in clear, standard Spanish — the Castilian pronunciation of Spain. Tap a card once to hear it, then as many times as you like; pronunciation settles in through the ear, and replays are unlimited. The audio works fully offline, same as everything else. TWO WAYS TO STUDY • Review Mode — flip through a category at your own pace, picture, English, Spanish and audio together • Flip Mode — the Spanish stays hidden until you tap: say it first, then check 50 CATEGORIES OF REAL, USEFUL WORDS Everyday life: colors, numbers, family, emotions, body, clothing, days and months Home: house, rooms, kitchen, bathroom, toys Food and drink: fruit, vegetables, food, drinks, sweets, nuts and seeds, and a category just for Spanish food Animals and nature: wildlife, domestic animals, aquatic animals, small creatures, birds, dinosaurs, nature, weather School and work: school, professions, actions, adjectives, music, sports, tools, technology, space Travel and places: transportation, buildings, countries, flags, positions …and nine more. BUILT TO BE USED, NOT SUBSCRIBED TO No ads. Not one, not even between cards — this is an app children use, and nobody should be selling to them. No account, no sign-up, no data collected. Fully offline: the back seat, the plane, the waiting room. The first categories are free. If it earns a place on your phone, one purchase unlocks all 1,000 words for good. No subscription. WHO IT'S FOR • Kids starting Spanish at school or at home, with a parent alongside • Adult beginners who want words before grammar • Families raising bilingual kids who want the Spanish side to stick • Travelers who want to read the menu and order lunch, in Madrid or Mexico City GOOD TO KNOW Do I need to know any Spanish already? No. Every card shows the picture, the English and the Spanish together, with the audio a tap away. Spain or Latin America? The audio is Castilian, the Spanish of Spain. The words themselves are everyday vocabulary, understood anywhere Spanish is spoken. Is this a course? No. It's vocabulary, done properly. Grammar can wait until there are words to hang it on. Who makes it? A small independent studio that has been making language flashcard apps since 2016. Tap the first c
