WHAT FRY WIFI CHECKS • Router and gateway: local latency, jitter, and packet loss. • DNS: whether website lookups are slowing browsing down. • Internet path: whether the wider connection looks healthy. • Speed: adaptive download and upload tests from small probes up to larger runs on fast networks. • Captive portals: warnings when Wi-Fi appears to intercept web traffic.
