FruitMeasureApp is an AI-powered mobile application designed to simplify fruit diameter measurement by capturing photos with a mobile device. The app allows for quick, easy, and accurate measurements, reducing the need for manual tools and improving efficiency in monitoring and analysis tasks. It is geared towards use in agricultural, commercial, and research contexts, where objective fruit size measurement is a key factor for quality assessment, classification, and decision-making. FruitMeasureApp contributes to: • Streamlining field measurement processes • Improving the consistency and traceability of the data obtained • Supporting quality control and yield assessment • Facilitating data-driven decision-making Development and Funding FruitMeasureApp was developed by the University of Lleida and the Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology (IRTA) as part of the demonstration project “FruitMeasureApp: Validation and prototyping of an AI-based mobile application for measuring fruit in the field.” This project is co-financed by the European Union through intervention 7201 of the CAP Strategic Plan 2023-2027.
