Fresh Joy is a wildflower meadow designer and season simulator that lets you build a real plot, choose from 24 curated wildflower species, and watch the whole meadow come to life as you scrub from May to September. Poppies, cornflowers, foxgloves, knapweed, ragged robin — every plant grows, blooms, and fades on its own authentic schedule, rendered week by week in rich animated botanical detail. Under the canvas, a real ecology engine scores your meadow on three dimensions: pollinator value (tracking bees, butterflies, hoverflies, and moths), biodiversity (Shannon index, family richness, height-layer spread, and an A+–F grade), and bloom continuity (flagging the quiet weeks so nothing goes unnoticed). The Report screen distils it all into a nectar index, a pollinator ring, and plain-language recommendations — fill that July gap with field scabious, add a tall foxglove for missing hoverflies, plant birdsfoot trefoil to complete the ground layer. The Bloom Calendar maps every species across all 20 weeks of the wildflower season in a crisp Gantt view, so you can see exactly when each flower peaks and where coverage thins. Set your plot's sun exposure and soil type and Fresh Joy flags which species thrive, which tolerate the conditions, and which to avoid — before you plant a single stem. Fresh Joy works completely offline. No account, no sync, no connection required — just your plot, a curated wildflower library, and a season waiting to bloom.
