25 years of online radio, and an app built around one thing: how it sounds. SOUND THAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE The whole app streams in HLS: the live feed starts instantly, adapts to your connection on its own and goes up to 256 kbps. The audio processing has been reworked specifically for digital listening: more depth, more dynamics, clear vocals and solid bass, on headphones, in the car or on a speaker. That's what 25 years as one of France's very first digital radio stations sounds like, on air online since 2001. 25 MUSIC CHANNELS To mark its 25th anniversary, Fréquence 3 went slightly mad and created 25 themed channels. They roll out over time, with formats you won't find elsewhere and channels hosted by people who know the craft, like PopXperience from Adrien Toma, a radio host and producer for many years. FREE, INDEPENDENT, NON-PROFIT Fréquence 3 is run by a French non-profit association. No shareholders, no media group behind it: just a team of enthusiasts and a free, independent, community-driven station. Every time you open the app, you keep it alive.
