Store description excerpt

Nothing is hidden. No face-down row, no stock left to turn, no card waiting to surprise you halfway through. Fifty-two cards lie face up across eight columns from the moment the game begins, and everything that will ever happen is already on the screen. That one property changes what the game actually is. You are not hoping for anything. You are reading a position, much as you would read a board at chess, and a loss belongs to you rather than to the shuffle. Four cells sit above the tableau, each holding a single card. They are your working memory, and the craft of the game lies in knowing when to spend one and when to refuse. Rules, briefly Build the tableau down in alternating colours, so a black eight takes a red seven. Drop any single card into an open cell to get it out of the way. Lift an ordered run in one gesture, provided you have enough open cells and empty columns to have moved it card by card. An empty column will take any card at all. The foundations build up by suit from Ace to King, and the game is won when all four are complete. Put two fingers on the table and the board zooms in when the columns grow long; lift them and the cards settle back to size. Handy on a small screen when a column runs past the fold. What else is in it Undo the last hundred moves, one at a time. A hint when you would like a second opinion. A built-in tutorial. Statistics: games played, wins, best times. Card backs and table colours to choose from. Plays offline with no account and no sign-up. 33 languages. Contact: sbecker.app@gmail.com
