Store description excerpt
Photograph your meal. Forkcast works out what is on the plate and where your week is heading. MOST TRACKERS GUESS. FORKCAST TELLS YOU WHICH. Every food is labelled Database or Estimated, so you can see which numbers came from real USDA reference data and which are the model's best guess. No other tracker is honest about that difference — and once you stop believing the numbers, you stop logging. IT LEARNS YOUR PORTIONS Drag a portion once and Forkcast remembers. Your rice bowl is the size it is every time, so after a handful of corrections it starts closer than any general model could. All of it happens on your device, from your own data. IT MEASURES WHAT YOU BURN — IT DOESN'T ASSUME Most apps estimate your maintenance calories from a textbook formula that can be hundreds of calories wrong for any one person. Weigh in for two weeks and Forkcast works out your real number from what you actually ate against what the scale actually did. Connect Apple Health and it reads your real activity too. FOOD FROM EVERYWHERE Biryani, jollof, pho, dal, naan — Forkcast handles the food people actually eat, not just packaged Western groceries. 3,398 foods from USDA FoodData Central, plus a model that recognises dishes no database lists. SEE THE CHANGE Add a progress photo whenever you like and watch the timeline build. The numbers tell you what happened; this shows it. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS No account. No signup. No password. Your log lives on your device and syncs through your own iCloud — we cannot read it. Meal photos are deleted after seven days automatically. Export everything to CSV whenever you want. FORKCAST PLUS - Unlimited photo analyses (the free plan covers three a day) - A second opinion from a more accurate model on crowded plates - Apple Health, so your budget uses real activity instead of an estimate Everything else — photo logging, the USDA database, portions that learn, the weight forecast, progress photos and CSV export — is free. WHERE THE NUMBERS COME FROM Forkcast cites every calculation it makes. Food values come from USDA FoodData Central. Your resting rate uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, your protein target follows published sports-nutrition reviews, and the weight forecast uses the standard 7,700 kcal per kg figure. Tap Sources & References in Settings, or the link beside any figure in the app, to open the original research. SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS - Plus Monthly: auto-renewable, one month per period - Plus Yearly: auto-renewable, one year per period - Two weeks free, then the price shown on the purchase screen for your country.
