Knowing football isn't enough — you need to remember it. Footy Grid is a puzzle game that truly challenges your football knowledge. There's no rote memorization; it's built on the career data of 236 footballers in three distinct game modes. Who played where, who was on the same team, which manager coached them — the answers are all there. It works completely offline. No ads, no membership, no internet required. ▬▬▬ THREE GAME MODES ▬▬▬ ⚽ FOUR-FOUR — 4x4 Puzzle A footballer card appears at the top, with 16 squares waiting below. Each square has a criterion: club, nationality, cup, manager, teammate, league, continent, active player. Place the footballer in the square corresponding to the criterion and fill all 16 squares. Scoring takes into account the difficulty of the square: rare squares with fewer solutions in the deck give more points. The streak bonus increases with consecutive correct answers. There are three difficulty levels, and the difficulty is adjusted not by the type of criterion, but by the rarity within that type — "Real Madrid" and "Trabzonspor" are of the same type, but their difficulties are completely different. At the end of the game, it shows the squares you couldn't fill and the players who could solve them; you see where you got stuck. 🔥 COUNTER — 45 seconds One player, two options. Choose the correct one. The goal is to reach the highest score before the time runs out. Each correct answer increases the series multiplier and adds time to the timer. There's a separate bonus for quick answers. The series resets for a wrong answer — that's the real penalty. As time progresses, the distractors get closer: initially "Kane: Tottenham or Feyenoord?", eventually "Kane: Tottenham or Man City?". 📅 WHO IS THIS? — one puzzle a day One player each day, and everyone in the world guesses the same player. You have 6 guesses; each wrong answer reveals another clue. The clues are revealing from few to many: nationality, career years, number of clubs and leagues, cups, managers, teams played for. The earlier you know, the more points you get. The longer the day gets as you know more — if you miss a day, you lose. ▬▬▬ FEATURES ▬▬▬ • 236 footballers, 1415 career periods, 114 different criteria • Teamwork and manager relationships are not entered manually; they are automatically calculated based on whether players were on the same team at the same time. So the answer to the question "played with Messi" is based on real dates. • Challenge code: each game has a 6-digit code. Send the code to a friend, have them play the exact same game — the same squares, the same cards, the same sequence.
