Store description excerpt

FollowMyMus is a record-keeper for the open music web. Search MusicBrainz, follow the artists you actually listen to, and get a quiet feed of new releases — synced across Android, iOS, and desktop. Search MusicBrainz, the open encyclopedia The full MusicBrainz database, queried like a librarian would. Filter by genre, country, founding year. Every artist page is profiled with a description, tags, and the links that go with them — Discogs, Bandcamp, BBC Music, IMDb, the lot. Every release, in one shelf Albums, singles, EPs, compilations, live — grouped by type, ordered by date, with cover art from the Cover Art Archive. Drill in for media (vinyl, CD, digital) and the full track listing. Follow, once. Sync, everywhere. Tap to follow. Your list syncs across every device you sign in on, backed by Supabase. Export it as JSON for backup. Import it on a new device with a single tap. A quiet feed of new releases The Releases tab is a timeline, not a firehose. The app batch-syncs the latest from every artist you follow using MusicBrainz date-range queries, then hands them to you in chronological order — with swipe to dismiss, tap to mark seen. Offline by default Every page you read is cached in Room. Browse the catalogue on the underground. Open a release on the plane. The local cache is the source of truth; the network catches it up.
