Store description excerpt

Water in your iPhone speaker? Fix My Speaker uses low-frequency sound waves and haptics to push trapped water and dust back out through the speaker grille. No tools, no disassembly, no appointment — just one tap. After a splash, the pool, rain, or a sweaty workout, water sits inside the speaker chamber and makes everything sound muffled, crackly, or far too quiet. A cleaning tone vibrates the speaker membrane fast enough to force that water out, and a wider sweep shakes loose the dust and pocket lint sitting on the grille. CLEANING TOOLS • Water Eject — a turbo low-frequency burst that pushes trapped water out • Dust Cleaner — a wide sweep that shakes dust and lint off the grille • Deep Clean — a full mid-band cycle for sound that is muffled or blocked • Sound Test — sweeps the frequency range so you can hear what still plays cleanly • Ear Speaker — cleans the earpiece at the top of your iPhone, the one you use on calls • Haptic Clean — pulses the Taptic Engine to shake stubborn debris loose FEATURES • One-tap guided cleaning with a countdown timer • Optional haptic assist while the cleaning tone plays • In-app volume control, so you stay in charge of how loud it gets • Light and Dark themes • Simple, uncluttered design built for iPhone and iPad HOW TO USE IT 1. Turn the volume up and disconnect any headphones, AirPods, or Bluetooth speakers. 2. Hold your iPhone with the speaker facing down so gravity helps the water out. 3. Choose a cleaning mode and start the cycle. 4. Let it run to the end, wipe away any beads of water, then run Sound Test. 5. Still muffled? Run it two or three more times. WHEN IT HELPS • Sound went quiet, muffled, or crackly after your phone got wet • Splashes at the beach, the pool, the shower, or in the rain • Dust, lint, and pocket fuzz built up in the speaker grille over time • Callers sound faint through the earpiece • You just want to check whether your speaker still plays every frequency cleanly GOOD TO KNOW Cleaning plays loud tones through the speaker on purpose — that is what moves the water. Start at a moderate volume, raise it gradually, and keep the phone away from your ear while a cycle is running. Fix My Speaker helps with surface water and loose debris on and around the speaker. It cannot repair hardware damage or reach water deeper inside the device. If your iPhone took a serious soak, power it off, let it dry, and contact Apple Support or a qualified repair shop.
