Store description excerpt

Drop a line in the water and let the fish come to you. Fish Wrangler is an idle fishing RPG that has been running since 2008. Cast your line, put the phone down, and come back later to see what bit. Your crew keeps fishing while you are gone, and the deckhands check the lines for you through the day. Catch over 2,200 species across 111 towns, from the shallows around Waterport to the ice of Icelantica and stranger places past that. Every fish you land goes into your collection, and some of them are very hard to find. WHAT YOU DO - Cast, wait, collect. This is a passive idle game. It respects the fact that you have a life happening around it. - Level up poles, from a broken branch to gear that pulls in the rare stuff. - Sail to new islands by boat, each with its own fish, its own weather and its own trouble. - Run quests for augments that push a pole past its normal ceiling. - Learn skills, hunt resources, and work out which chum brings which fish in. - Fish with a crew. Real people, taking each other out on trips. - Collect Polaroids for the milestones, the monsters, and the ones that got away. OFFLINE BY DESIGN Fish Wrangler is meant to be checked on, not stared at. Trips run on their own time. Your crew fishes overnight. Nothing here punishes you for closing the app, and nothing here demands you grind for hours to keep up. WHY PEOPLE STAY Some wranglers have been playing this game for over fifteen years. It is not a reskin and it is not a clicker that runs dry after a weekend. There is a whole world in here, with quests, collections, tournaments, boats, skills and a very long list of fish, and it is still being added to. Free to play, with optional support for the folks who keep the boat afloat.
