Store description excerpt

First Light calculates legal shooting hours — sunrise and sunset plus a configurable offset — entirely on your device. No network connection required, ever, which matters because most competing hunting-hours apps need a signal at least once to load their data. How it works: 1. Tap "Use my location" (or enter coordinates manually for a spot you're scouting ahead of time). 2. First Light computes sunrise, sunset, and the legal shooting-hours window for that location using its GPS coordinates — no server round trip. 3. Check today's window at a glance, or scroll a 7-day outlook to plan ahead. The default offset is 30 minutes before sunrise / after sunset, the common federal-style norm — adjustable in-app since exact legal offsets vary by state and species. Please verify with your local wildlife agency. Legal shooting-hour offsets and season dates vary by state and species and change year to year. First Light does not include per-state regulation data or season dates — it's a sunrise/sunset calculator with a user-adjustable offset, not a substitute for your state's official regulations. No account. No data collection beyond anonymous, non-personalized ad delivery. Your location is used only to compute sunrise/sunset for that spot and is stored solely in the app's local storage on your device — never sent to us or anyone else.
