Fires In Victoria allows you to view in near real time, incident information for the following Victorian emergency services: CFA and DEECA. Be notified of incidents that occur within a Watch Zone that you can setup to suit your needs and view an incident’s location on a map. View the next four days’ worth of Fire Danger Ratings (FDR) and Total Fire Ban (TFB) declarations for each Victorian Fire District. IMPORTANT NOTE: This app is NOT endorsed by NOR does it represent CFA, EMV, DEECA or any other government organisation or emergency service. Fires In Victoria has special features for firefighters, including the ability to record/import/export Water Points and have them appear on a map in relation to an incident. The ability to search CFA Brigade Locations and view information about a Brigade and show its location on a map (any Water Points in the vicinity can also be shown). Other quick reference information to assist firefighters includes: HAZCHEM Code Decoder, Area Calculator, Hazardous Tree information, WATCHOUTS, Phonetic Alphabet, CFA Signals and Meanings, Public Warning Message Levels and definitions, Acronyms and UHF CB Channels. All this for FREE and no Ads. Awesome FEATURES include: INCIDENTS + View a list of CFA and DEECA incidents and tap an incident to view further details and locate the incident in Google Maps. + Setup a Watch Zone Notification so that you are notified when an incident occurs within your Watch Zone. + Setup a Notification so that you are notified when a certain number of appliances have arrived on-scene at an incident. + Setup Fires In Victoria to automatically download data. + Whilst in Incident Details, you can show a list of the nearest CFA Brigades to the incident and show not only the incident’s location on a map but also the nearest CFA Brigades and Water Points. TFB AND FDR DECLARATIONS + Complies with the Australian Fire Danger Rating System, which was introduced across Australia on 1st September 2022. + View a list of TFB declarations for today and the next four days and tap a declaration to view further TFB and FDR details broken down by TFB District. + TFB and FDR declarations are manually downloaded. CFA AND FRV LOCATIONS + Over 1300 pre-loaded Community Fire Refuges, CFA and FRV Brigades, CFA District Headquarters, Training Facilities, DMOs and Protective Equipment Facilities. + View a CFA Brigade’s location on a map and any Water Points in the vicinity. + Information includes: Address, Region, District, Group, Telephone and geocoordinates. WATER POINTS + So you know where the nearest Water Points are in relation to an incident, we provide the ability to record geocoordinates for Water Points. + The ability to import and export Water Points so you can share this information with Brigade members and other Brigades in your Group/District (Water Point data may be available electronically from your nearest Water Authority, any data obtained will need to be manipulated into the correct JSON file format b
