Finpond is a budget app where your remaining money looks like water in a fish tank. Spend, and the water goes down — your fish looks worried. Save, and it fills back up and celebrates. If plain spreadsheets never stuck, try caring for your money the way you would care for a pet fish. ■ Log it in 3 seconds Type the way you talk — "Chipotle 18" or "H Mart 85.50" — and Finpond splits out the merchant, amount and category for you. Add a "+" for income: "+3200 paycheck". Once you categorize a merchant, it remembers next time. ■ Just snap the receipt Photograph a receipt or pick a payment screenshot, and the total and merchant are read automatically. Images are processed entirely on your device and never uploaded. ■ Rent and paychecks, on autopilot Set rent on the 1st and your paycheck on the 15th, and they are recorded on those days with a reminder. Miss a few days? Finpond backfills what you missed the next time you open it. ■ A month that starts on payday Change the cycle start to the 25th and your month runs 7/25–8/24 — matching your paycheck or card due date. A comparison graph shows this period against the last one, or the same point last year. ■ Business ledger for small business owners Keep a business ledger completely separate from personal — the first rule of clean books. Expense categories are IRS Schedule C lines from the start (Line 8 Advertising, Line 20b Rent, and so on), so at tax time you can copy them straight into TurboTax, or send CSV/PDF to your accountant. Meals at 50%, quarterly P&L, and quarterly estimated-tax guidance are calculated for you. ■ English and Korean Switch between English and Korean any time in Settings. On first launch it follows your iPhone language. ■ Private by design · No bank connection. We never ask for account or card numbers. · Receipt photos never leave your device. · Lock the app with Face ID; balances are hidden in the app switcher too. · Tap any large number to mask it as ******. · No ads. No tracking. · Delete your account and all records from inside the app, anytime. ■ Five tank friends Whale, turtle, pufferfish, octopus or shrimp — pick your favorite. Log daily to build a streak; reach 7 days and your fish earns a crown. Sign in with Google to sync between iPhone and computer, or start instantly as a guest.
