Findidino is the calm hidden object and learning game for children aged 6 and over: find dinosaurs and finds from their age, hear their names, and pick up a little knowledge along the way. Watercolour style, offline, ad free. How it works: every round opens with a window showing the object you are looking for, and the question is read aloud, for example "Can you find the Stegosaurus?". Then it is time to look closely. Depending on the difficulty, 5, 10 or 15 objects hide in the picture, each in a place that makes sense: pterosaurs in the sky, marine reptiles in the water, everything else with its feet on the ground. A question mark and a magnifier help when you get stuck. After every find there is applause, and the app reads out the complete fact card: size, geological period, how the animal lived, and a "did you know" line. Every window stays up long enough for early readers to keep up. FIVE WORLDS, 15 SCENES, 100 OBJECTS - Fern Forest: Clearing, By the River, Thicket. With Tarbosaurus, Velociraptor, Oviraptor, Protoceratops, Microraptor, a dinosaur skull and a geode The proportions are real: a Diplodocus really is many times bigger on screen than a Compsognathus, because every size is calculated from the real body length. CHECKED CONTENT, EVEN WHERE THE CINEMA SAYS OTHERWISE Every animal gets its correct geological period. The Dilophosaurus does not spit venom here and wears no frill, the Velociraptor is the size of a turkey and feathered, because that is how it really was. Where researchers disagree, the fact card says so. EVERYTHING IS READ ALOUD The search prompt is spoken, every find is praised, every fact card is read out: more than 800 English recordings keep the sentences from wearing thin. A child who cannot read a single word can play a full round. Each world has its own ambient sound bed. Prefer quiet? Music and sounds switch off separately.
