We built Fimii because we kept running into the same thing: photo editors that either buried film looks under sliders nobody wants to touch, or newer apps that simply repaint your photo and call it a look. Neither felt like photography. So we made a film photo editor that develops, grades, and blends the pixels your camera actually captured — in true 16-bit, non-destructively, every step reversible. Fimii is for people who care how a photo actually looks. Every film preset in the app is built by hand, tuned frame by frame against real analog references. Nothing is baked in, nothing is locked. If our version of a film stock isn't quite your version, every parameter is there waiting. The result is a complete pro photo editor that stays fast and stays out of your way. Minimalistic. Powerful. HANDCRAFTED FILM PRESETS & FILM LOOKS Our film presets emulate classic analog film stocks, built by hand with attention to color separation, skin tones, and highlight rolloff — the subtle things that make film read as film. Alongside them, community preset collections from Fimii photographers are added regularly, so the library keeps growing. Every film look is fully adjustable. REAL EDITING, NOT AI GENERATION This matters enough to say plainly: Fimii never generates or repaints your image. Every adjustment operates on your real pixels. Where we do use AI, it reads your photo and moves the sliders — it does not invent anything, and you can change every value it sets. BUILT-IN FILM CAMERA Shoot with the built-in film camera using full manual control over focus, ISO, shutter, EV and white balance, with your film look previewed live in the viewfinder. What you frame is what you get, and every shot lands straight into a project ready to edit. COLOR MATCHING Drop in a reference photo — a frame you love, a still, a shot from your own archive — and Fimii analyzes it and matches its look on your image in seconds. Color matching returns a normal, editable set of adjustments, not a flattened filter. Take it as-is or use it as a starting point. PRO COLOR GRADING Three-way color wheels, HSL controls, and a tone curve with a live histogram. The kind of color grading you'd expect from desktop software, at a scale that works on a phone. TRUE 16-BIT RAW EDITOR Fimii decodes RAW from your phone and from most major camera brands — Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Panasonic, Olympus, Pentax and more, including DNG. Develop temperature, tint, exposure, highlights, shadows and vibrance in true 16-bit RAW, non-destructively. The extra depth is where the difference shows: recovered highlights stay clean, gradients stay smooth. FILM EFFECTS Finish with VHS, halation, dreamy diffusion, film grain and authentic film borders — modeled on how these behave optically, not pasted on as overlays.
