You've watched movies and TV shows for years. Why start your archive from scratch? Filmarchiv takes supported exports from Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV+, and Joyn and quickly builds a personal library from them. A history across multiple providers that stays with you. With typical streaming histories, almost everything is automatically recognized and correctly categorized. Filmarchiv doesn't just match names, but also evaluates available year, series, season, and episode information in several steps. This often reliably finds even difficult or incomplete entries. Only a small number, for which the export data doesn't provide a clear answer, remain open for review. The app helps with this too: You can compare potential matches with posters, descriptions, years, and season and episode information. If a description is included in the export, it can be opened directly as a Google search. Detailed instructions also show you where to find the respective data exports. The result is your own, accurate movie and TV show history. Save individual viewings with date and platform, track replays, rate movies and series, or add personal comments. Forgotten ratings can be easily added later. Favorite movies and series not only get a heart, but can also be permanently placed in your personal ranking. Series are tracked down to season and individual episodes. Watched episodes, progress, and replays remain transparent; entire seasons can be marked in just a few steps. A watchlist keeps track of movies and series you still want to watch or rewatch at some point. Large posters, a compact grid, or a list: You decide how your library looks. Sort and filter it by genre, platform, rating, actors, director, or last viewing, for example. Use the search function to find new titles in the extensive TMDB database. You can also share content directly from supported streaming apps with the movie archive. The app recognizes the title and takes you to the corresponding entry. A widget takes you directly to the library or search function from the home screen. Over time, the archive becomes a fairly accurate analysis of your viewing habits. The statistics show, separately for movies and series, how many titles and episodes you've watched, how much time you've spent watching them, which genres, characters, and platforms shape your viewing history, and what you've watched most frequently. Repeated viewings are retained instead of being lost. All personal data is stored locally on your device. There's no Filmarchiv account, no Filmarchiv cloud, no advertising, and no tracking. Automatic backups can be regularly written to a folder of your choice; full backups can be restored at any time.
