Thirty-six shots, not one more. Every guest who joins the party gets their own roll. Thirty-six presses of the shutter, and that is it. The organiser can drop it to twelve or twenty-four to make it tighter still. The counter stays on screen the whole time, and under the last five shots it starts to pulse. No preview, no retake, nothing you can delete. You do not see what you just took. No thumbnail, no gallery, no delete button. Viewfinder, shutter, counter, flash: nothing else on the screen. That is exactly what makes you watch the party instead of watching your phone. At ten the next morning, every roll develops at once. Not one photo is visible before then. Not even to the organiser, and that is not good manners, it is enforced by the server. At ten, a notification, and the images surface one by one like a print coming up in the tray. Forty guests, thirty-six shots each. Up to fourteen hundred points of view on the same night. The photographer was not sitting at any of those tables. They were sitting at all of them. A six-character code, and nobody makes an account. The organiser creates the party, sets the date and the hour it opens, then hands out the code. A QR to scan, six characters to type, a card to print: all three work. Your guests are in within ten seconds, from the app or from a browser. Five film looks, all of them restrained. Naturel barely shows at all. Sable warms things up, golden highlights and greens pulled toward olive. Brume cools them down, turquoise shadows and open skies. Studio softens, built for faces. Argentique goes to reportage black and white, grain owned but never loud. The look is not baked in at capture: the organiser can change it across the whole gallery afterwards, once the photos have developed. It works with no signal. A wedding in a barn has no bars. The photos leave on their own later, nobody has to do anything. What never leaves the party. Your photo library is never read: the app writes to it, it does not look inside. Hosting is in Europe. Photos are visible only to the guests of that one party, and they erase themselves seven days after developing. No trackers, no advertising, nothing sold on. A free party takes ten guests and keeps the photos for seven days. Soirée illimitée is a one-time purchase for a single party: a thousand guests and ninety days of storage.
