Field Service Job Tracker is a lightweight field notebook for solo contractors—handymen, mobile detailers, repair techs, installers, inspectors, and small maintenance operators. It’s built to replace juggling Notes, Photos, Calendar, reminders, and spreadsheets—not to copy heavy tools like Jobber or a full CRM. What you use it for See what jobs are open and what’s due today or overdue Remember what the customer asked for (notes + timeline) Keep before/after and receipt photos on the job Track materials, simple estimates, and payments Answer fast: What did I quote? Did they pay? What should I do today? Core features Jobs as the hub—create a job with just a title; add detail later Customers linked to jobs (no forced workflow) Photos per job—take or import, optional type (before / after / receipt, etc.) and captions Notes and a timeline so the job reads like what actually happened Materials list per job with estimated costs and totals Estimate builder—line items, tax, discount, deposit; draft / sent / accepted / declined Payments—record multiple payments, methods (cash, card, transfer, check, other), balance due Today view—overdue, today, later this week, unscheduled Share estimates and job summaries as PDF, plus text and photos, using the normal share sheet (Messages, Mail, WhatsApp, AirDrop, Files, etc.) CSV export and JSON backup for your own records Business profile (name, contact, defaults) for cleaner PDFs Privacy & data Your data is yours. It stays on your device offline-first and syncs to your Apple ID’s private iCloud—no app login, no backend server, and no team sharing or shared CloudKit workspaces in v1. Sharing is export only (PDF, text, photos, CSV)—perfect for texting a homeowner an estimate without turning the product into SaaS collaboration. Not built for (v1): Multi-user teams, dispatch, assignments, permissions, dashboards, invoicing gateways, Stripe/Square checkout, CRM pipelines, AI, public databases, or cross-user messaging.
