FI Pro is a FIRE planning calculator for serious DIY planners. Project your accumulation, simulate your withdrawal phase, compare scenarios — all on real historical market data going back to 1872. WHAT IT DOES • Accumulation: monthly compounding from your current savings rate, with adjustable expenses, return, inflation, and pension start age. • Withdrawal: SAFE-style withdrawal simulation calibrated to FICalc within 0.5% over 30+ year horizons. Two strategies: constant-dollar (Trinity-style) and percent-of-portfolio. • Historical data: full Shiller S&P 500 + CPI dataset, 1872–2025 (154 years). Pre-1926 backfill from Cowles Commission. Real returns derived from nominal via Fisher. • Monte Carlo: parametric simulation in real-return space, configurable volatility, percentile bands. • Multi-scenario: run up to 3 scenarios side by side. Goal-seek for FIRE age or required monthly savings. Compare overlay on the chart. • Year-by-year table: every year of your plan, accumulation and withdrawal rows, per-year savings overrides, current-year highlight, Coast/FIRE milestones.
