Store description excerpt

Ever notice a bird in the city and wonder what it could be? Want to remember where you saw it, what it looked like, and how it behaved? Feathra is an urban bird observation app that helps you explore possible birds, learn practical field clues, keep private sighting records, and ask for observation help. IDENTIFY BY OBSERVATION CLUES Start with the details you can see, including body size, dominant colors, bill shape, movement, Feathra level, habitat, and time of observation. Feathra uses your selected clues to build a focused set of up to three possible birds. Each candidate may include: - Supporting field clues - Conflicting or unclear details - Features worth checking again - Suggested follow-up questions Results are provided for observation and learning. They may be incomplete or incorrect and should not be treated as confirmed identification. You can adjust your clues, continue without a candidate, or save the bird as unknown. EXPLORE A BIRD FROM A PHOTO When creating an Observation Help post, you can add a bird photo and ask Feathra to analyze the visible bird. The result may include a possible bird, visible supporting clues, unclear details, and alternative candidates. You decide whether to add the result to your post. Photo results are never added or published automatically. LEARN WITH URBAN BIRD GUIDES Explore an editorial collection of bird guides organized around common observation settings: - Streets and gardens - Parks and waterways - Open skies - Trees and canopies Each guide includes practical field clues, behavior notes, key takeaways, related reading, and responsible observation reminders. Save useful guides so you can revisit them later. BUILD YOUR PRIVATE BIRD NOTEBOOK Create a private record for every sighting, including: - Bird name or unknown status - Observation date - General location - Habitat and behavior - Personal notes - Optional photo - Saved candidate results Review your sightings through a private timeline and observation calendar. Notebook summaries are calculated only from the records you create. ASK FOR OBSERVATION HELP When a sighting remains uncertain, you can choose to publish an Observation Help post in Bird Circle. Add a bird photo, a short description, general habitat information, and the clues you noticed. Other birdwatchers can respond with relevant field clues and possible context. Bird Circle is designed specifically for bird observation help. It does not include random chat, private messaging, nearby-user discovery, or user matching. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Private sightings, notes, photos, and candidate results are visible only to you. Nothing from your private Notebook is posted to Bird Circle automatically. Content becomes public only when you deliberately create and publish an Observation Help post. Community images are processed to remove embedded location metadata before publication. Exact coordinates are not required. COMMUNITY SAFETY Observation Help posts and replies are subject to content checks
