Store description excerpt
Screen overlay with large gesture buttons for controlling any map app while riding. When your phone is mounted on handlebars and you can't precisely hit small UI elements, FatTap gives you big, semi-transparent buttons on screen edges to swipe and zoom the map. Features: • Directional swipe buttons — pan the map up, down, left, right • Zoom in / zoom out buttons — no two-finger pinch required • Collapsible overlay — hide all buttons with one tap, the screen underneath stays fully interactive • Configurable — adjust swipe distance and zoom strength from the setup screen • Lock screen ready — overlay stays visible and interactive over the lock screen • Motion-friendly — buttons respond on press, so they work even when your finger slides on bumpy roads • Works over any map app How it works — Accessibility Service disclosure: FatTap uses the Android Accessibility Service API to perform touch gestures (swipe, pinch zoom) on your behalf. This is the core functionality of the app: when you press a FatTap overlay button, the service dispatches a corresponding swipe or pinch gesture to the map app underneath, so you don't need to perform the gesture yourself with small, precise finger movements. The Accessibility Service is used only to dispatch these gestures in response to your button presses. FatTap does not: • read, capture, or analyze screen content • collect, store, or transmit any personal data • access data from other apps • change system or user settings • record audio or interact with phone calls • perform any action unless you press a button You must explicitly enable the Accessibility Service in Android system settings before FatTap works. You can disable or uninstall it at any time from the same place. Before enabling the service, the app shows a disclosure dialog explaining exactly how the service is used. Privacy FatTap does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All gesture parameters are stored locally on your device.
