Store description excerpt
Every other fasting app starts a timer or hands you a devotional. None of them answers the question you actually have at the table. Can I eat this? Pick the fast you are keeping and type a food. The answer comes back in one of three states, and every answer names its reason. Allowed. Outside this fast. Or check the label — because canned beans and store bread genuinely depend on how they were made, and an app that guesses there is worse than one that says so. Food by food, not day by day. 248 foods are in the app, from produce and grains to beans, nuts, dairy, fish, meat, drinks, fats and condiments. Ten fasts are in the app: the Daniel Fast and its stricter form, vegetables and water, liquids only, water only, no-meat days, traditional fast days, strict fast days, the days oil and wine are permitted, and a sugar fast. The reason is the point. White bread is outside the Daniel Fast because of leaven and refined grain — the app says those words, not just "no". Change the fast and the same food can flip, so you can see which rule is doing the work. Substitutes that pass. When a food is outside, the app offers foods in the same category that clear the fast you picked. They are worked out from the same rules, not written down in a table, so they change when you change the fast. Compare across every fast. One screen puts the food you are looking at against all ten fasts at once. A plate, not a streak. Add foods to a plate and get one summary line for the whole meal. Share it as a card if you want to. Nothing is counted, nothing is scored, no day is marked as failed. No account, no timer, no devotional. Everything runs on the phone with no network at all, and nothing you look up leaves it. This is a look-up of traditional fasting rules. It is not medical or nutrition advice, and it holds no calorie or weight numbers. Languages: English, 한국어, 日本語, 繁體中文, Deutsch, Français, Español
