Store description excerpt

FarmersAid is a critical care support tool designed specifically for serious on-farm accidents. Developed for real farming environments, the app provides real-time, step-by-step guidance during the first critical moments following severe injury or trauma, helping people take appropriate action while emergency services are on the way. Farming remains one of the UK’s most dangerous industries, and distance, terrain and access can delay emergency response times. FarmersAid is designed to support any one on site, including farmers, workers, colleagues and family members, when fast, informed action matters most. The app focuses on the most common serious on-farm accident scenarios, including: Burns Crush injuries Drowning Electric shocks Falls from height Limb entrapment Livestock-related injuries Machinery-related incidents Severe bleeding Guidance is structured, clear and easy to follow in high-stress situations, helping users respond confidently until professional help arrives. The app also includes a useful demo to give users a practice run and familiarise themselves with the content. Plus all content is available offline to allow for areas with no connectivity. FarmersAid has been developed with clinical and frontline expertise in rural and remote emergency medicine to ensure guidance is practical, accurate and usable in real on-farm conditions. Important Information FarmersAid is not a replacement for calling emergency services or professional medical care. In a serious emergency, always call 999 first.
