Families United keeps all of it in one place — and keeps other parents, and real people from our team, within reach. Your services in one place IEP support, Early Start, and Regional Center intake each have their own page showing where things stand, what is coming up next, and who is involved. Paperwork checklists, appointment prep, participants, and important dates stay with the service they belong to. Someone to talk to Request a one-to-one session with a family navigator when you need a real person. See what is scheduled, and cancel or ask for a new time if life gets in the way. A gentle check-in on your child's milestones A short questionnaire you can take at your own pace, one question at a time. It is not a diagnosis. It gives you plain-language results and, if something looks worth a closer look, a clear next step and someone to take it with. Learn at your own pace Self-paced modules on the IEP process, the Lanterman Act, eligibility, and your rights under the law. Read or watch a lesson, check what you remember with a short quiz, and write down your own reflections. Your progress is saved, you earn badges along the way, and you finish with a certificate you can download and keep. Parents who have been here Ask a question in the community and hear back from families who have already lived it. Browse by topic, follow a conversation, and share what worked for you. A library and resources Guides, checklists, videos, and printable documents covering IEPs, Regional Center eligibility, and developmental milestones. Search it, filter it, and save anything you want to come back to later. Workshops, meetings, and deadlines Browse community workshops and parent support circles, and let us know if you are coming. Your calendar brings together your navigator sessions, the events you are attending, and upcoming deadlines, so one screen answers what is happening this week.
