DISCOVER AN APP YOU CAN TRUST Evie does not require any permissions to run. It does not need access to your files, your contacts, or any other information and it does not read nor store cookies on your phone. TRY THE LIFE-LIKE AMAZON VOICES Evie integrates with Polly, the excellent TTS engine from Amazon. Polly is a cloud service that uses deep learning technologies to synthesize speech that sounds like a human voice. This is a paid feature, and requires an Evie account. Evie offers simple in-app purchases in a pay-as-you-go model. LEARN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE WITH EVIE Have Evie repeat each sentence multiple times, then optionally wait for you to repeat. The key to speaking the language is memorization through repetition. READ A BOOK IN A LANGUAGE YOU DON'T KNOW Evie can translate each sentence on the fly, then read the translation out loud to you. Evie uses the excellent Amazon Neural translation engine, supporting more than 70 languages. This is a paid feature, and requires an Evie account. Evie offers simple in-app purchases for in a pay-as-you-go model. You can use for free, with any TTS engine installed on your phone, if you don't want to use the Amazon voices.
