ESO Dashboard is the official mobile companion app for El Sistema after-school music programs. It is a thin Android wrapper around the live esodash.com web app, so everything you do in the app stays in sync with the web version on any computer. Built for staff -- teaching artists, conductors, directors, and program administrators -- ESO Dashboard puts the day-to-day tools you actually use in your pocket. WHO THIS IS FOR This app is intended for staff at El Sistema-affiliated music programs who already have an authorized account on the ESO Dashboard system. It is not a public app: if you have not been given login credentials by your program administrator, you will not see anything past the sign-in screen. KEY FEATURES Attendance check-in -- Take attendance for any ensemble in seconds, with a mobile-friendly grid that handles partial-day enrollment, combined classes, and substitute teachers cleanly. Today view -- One screen shows every class running today, who is teaching, who is checked in, and any late arrivals or absences that need follow-up. Planning -- Drag-and-drop weekly planning grid with real-time collaboration. Multiple staff can plan the same week at once and see each other typing. Student profiles -- Tap any student to see their full attendance history, mood check-ins, primary and additional ensembles, instrument assignment, and birthday. Reports -- Attendance percentage, lateness trends, mood distribution, and ensemble-level participation reports, with date-range filters and export options. Instrument inventory -- Track every instrument the program owns: who has it, when it was last serviced, repair history, and unit-level condition notes. Building map -- Interactive 3D map of the program building. Tap a room to see who is teaching, what is meeting there right now, and which rooms are free. Substitutes -- Request a sub, approve sub coverage requests, and track who covered whose class. Combined-class banners show when two ensembles meet together because one teacher is out. Professional development and meetings -- Log PD events, all-staff meetings, and other non-teaching commitments alongside the regular class schedule. Van routes -- Recurring van pickup and dropoff routes for student transportation, with multi-stop ordering and driver assignment. Recent activity and audit -- See a live feed of attendance check-ins, planning edits, and student record changes across the whole program. DATA AND PRIVACY ESO Dashboard does not collect any data from you that you do not enter yourself into the dashboard. Your login session is the only identifier the app stores. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS only) and at rest on our server. We do not share data with third parties. The app is for staff use only. Data about students is entered by authorized staff, not by students themselves; students do not log in to ESO Dashboard.
