One map-based app that brings together the conditions for a fishing trip, a hike, the berry woods, the mushroom forest, a birding outing and the ski tracks. FISHING • Bite forecast: the best hours of the day based on weather, pressure, wind and water temperature. • Fishing guide: lure tips and conditions coaching for the species you choose. • Depth contours and Best Spots on the map, water temperature and flow. • Area restrictions and a modelled ice assessment. HIKING AND MOUNTAIN BIKING • Trails and trail conditions — length, elevation profile and services along the route. • Suggestions for where to go today and cards for places out in the terrain. BERRIES AND MUSHROOMS • Growing-site assessments from forest data as coloured zones. • Picking conditions and a harvest log. BIRDS • Recent bird observations on the map and species lists — where to find which species. SKIING • Ski track network and skiing conditions. YOUR PLACES AND TRACKS • Save places, log catches and harvests, record and export a GPS track. COVERAGE The content and the data sources cover Finland. IMPORTANT The forecasts, growing-site assessments and the ice assessment are models, not measurements or guarantees. They describe what the environment is like – not what you will find there. Depth data is not suitable for navigation. DATA SOURCES The open data sources (including the Finnish Meteorological Institute, the Finnish Environment Institute, the National Land Survey of Finland, the Finnish Forest Centre, Traficom, Metsähallitus, Lipas and GBIF) are credited in the app's About view in line with their licence terms. SUBSCRIPTION Eräkaveri is a paid subscription app. New users get a 7-day free trial, after which the subscription continues automatically on the plan you choose, monthly or yearly. The price for your region is shown in the App Store and in the app before you confirm the purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and renewal is charged within 24 hours of the end of that period. You can manage and cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Any unused part of the trial is forfeited if you buy the subscription during the trial.
