Store description excerpt

You open the app without thinking. Your thumb moved before you even decided. That's not a choice. That's conditioning. EnsoMori doesn't try to stop you. It doesn't fight the pattern. It simply shows it to you, clearly, quietly, without judgment. And when you see a pattern completely, something changes on its own. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 This is not another app that locks your phone and calls it discipline. Discipline is conflict. Willpower is resistance. And what you resist only grows stronger. EnsoMori takes a different approach, rooted in the philosophy of self-observation. When your attention starts to slip , rapidly hopping between apps, or sinking into a long scroll in an app you've chosen to watch , a gentle notification appears. Not a lecture. Not a countdown. Just an invitation to pause and observe: What am I feeling right now? What am I escaping from? You're not asked to fight the urge. You're asked to look at it. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗲𝘁 • Awareness at the Right Moment: When you drift, hopping between apps, or losing yourself in one you've chosen to watch, a gentle notification appears. Not to block you, but to act as a mirror, showing you the movement of your own mind before it runs on autopilot. • Daily Look Back: A scheduled moment each day, at a time you choose. Not to track performance, but to ask honest questions. How am I? What's driving me right now? • Private Journal: A space for unfiltered self-observation. Write what's true, not what sounds good. • Thoughtful Reads: Short articles exploring why we get caught in loops, what attention really means, and how understanding dissolves compulsive behavior where effort alone cannot. • The Rhythm: A visual reflection of the rhythm of your attention over time. Not a streak. Not a scoreboard. Just an honest mirror of your awareness. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 Most apps treat distraction as an enemy to defeat. EnsoMori treats it as something to understand. There is no authority here. No system telling you what to do. No guru prescribing a method. The app is a mirror. What you do with what you see is entirely yours. Your journal, your reflections, your observations, they stay on your device. No tracking. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗘𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗶 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 EnsoMori uses Android's Accessibility Service to detect which app is currently open on your screen, and only for the apps you choose to watch. When you open one of those apps, or hop rapidly between them, EnsoMori shows a gentle, non-judgmental notification so you can notice what you are doing. EnsoMori only reads the name of the app in the foreground. It never reads, records, collects, stores, or transmits your screen content, what you type, your messages, or any personal data. This permission is optional. It is explained on a consent screen before you turn it on, and you can turn it off at any time in your phone's Accessibility settings. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲 Enso is the Zen cir
