This educational app uses augmented and virtual reality to digitally reconstruct the old sugar mill, offering an immersive and interactive experience. Explore the complete reconstruction of the mill and walk through the mill house, the furnace house, and the purging house. Listen to detailed narrations explaining the mill's operations, the sugar production process during the colonial period, and the historical importance of Pombal Farm. The app is the result of a scientific initiation research project in the Architecture and Urban Planning program at the Federal University of São João del-Rei (UFSJ). The project aims to use technology as a tool for memory preservation and heritage education, promoting knowledge about the historical heritage of Minas Gerais and Brazil. This app does not use augmented reality. The experience is entirely virtual, displayed on a cell phone screen.
